6 squares of dark chocolate
60g raw sugar
30g cornflour
1 Tbsp cocoa
700g milk
2 eggs
Place chocolate, sugar, cornflour and cocoa into bowl - 20 seconds - Speed 9
Add milk and eggs - 7 minutes - 90 degrees - Speed 4
Serve immediately on it's own or with fresh fruit
I often double the recipe, enough then for the next day (My kids quite like it cold)
I tried this but it came out way too runny. Was basically hot chocolate.
ReplyDeleteDelicious- mine was beautifully thick and ready to eat!
ReplyDeleteG'day - i am just a new boy so followed every step except added a dash of the vanilla i have learned to make on these sites.
ReplyDeleteYour CUSTARD turned out FABULOUS - not a lump and it was just beautiful.
I took off the MC and put on the basket because it sounded very "wet" until the last minute or so but then.
Will certainly make this again
Thanks for a great taste sensation
Kind regards
peter
Mine didn't work..
ReplyDeleteRunny runny runny..
Added more cornflour and cooked for longer..
Still didn't work
:-(
This was perfect........ Exactly following the receipe. Filled our dessert bowls with cold fresh strawberries and then poured hot chocolate custard on top. ( A skin forms pretty quickly but still taste YUM. )
